Weekly Update: It's been super hot here all of a sudden and everyone but the beaches and pools are hurting. Got up to the Jeep yesterday after a stop at Harbor Freight and got to work. Finished patching the driver's side floor so that's all ready to go. We got the angle iron cut, bent, and ready to be welded in, and worked on the final patch of the Jeep's floor by the passenger side front leaf bracket to the middle of the wheel well. Also swapped pumps from my old tank to the new tank since they were different but same mounting hardware, then continued to work on getting it ready for paint and reinstal. Rust repair is almost completely done and the sliders are coming in at a nice pace. Hoping next week to get the driver's side slider welded up and the final patch in. Then we get to roll it out for a hose off before POR15 and bedline.

It's getting there. I've paused and wondered myself if he was going to turn back.

where's a pic of that sweet quarter panel patch I did? Lol
I got you one. Not sure about craftsmanship, but it's stuck on there. (not sure if pic will show up.)
It's a pretty successful skin graft of a 96 rear driver side quarter panel to an 88 2 door front passenger side quarter panel as to the best of my ability.

Got tubes in yesterday. Fast shipping from AJ's Offroad and I highly recommend them. I called in and they called me back right away. These tubes are 58"s long and will be welded to the 2x6s for more side protection and a good step to get into the Jeep with.
Just got a great deal on a set of *new Brown Dog Rubber motor mounts off a member here. $80 shipped, they have less then 20 miles on them and come with the instructions. Shipped within the hour I paid for them with a good tracking number. Can't wait to see them.
Weekly Update:
Got the last patch welded in! No more rusty floor. While I was prepping the floor for por 15 and primer oldblue#2 was burning the driver's side 2x6 into the rocker. By the end of the night we had the tank undercoated and ready to be put back in, finished all the patches, por15 and primed the floor, welded the 2x6 into place, and finally undercoated all the patches.
Next is seam sealer and bedliner.
