OEM XJ parts?
When I had my ford/chevy trucks, and I needed new replacements for door handles, just about any part in the vehicle- and if I couldn't find it at the local salvage yard, I would order from the LMC Truck catalog. I was disappointed to find out that LMC doesn't sell parts for Jeeps; being a new XJ owner doing a restoration, where is a good reliable source for NEW parts- especially the black plastic trim parts. The previous owner loved to sit the Jeep out to bake in the sun and never waxed it...and the paint job/plastic trim shows it

A lot of stuff is not available OEM or even repro. If you find any body parts they're expensive. For instance a mopar fender is $300+ or I have found some replacements that are only like $80. Door handles and mirrors are available in repro from several companies. The side moulding isn't available new anywhere as far as I've found. Of coarse I've only been researching for 5or 6 years so someone else may have a little more info. Just google OEM Cherokee parts and several sights will come up but with limited supplies available. Also some NOS stuff is on eBay. Best bet is junkyards or part outs on Craigslist or part outs on forums. There's a lot of stuff that's used but in great shape. Also for the plastic parts rustoleum auto bumper and trim paint works really well. Just spray it lightly or it will fill in the texture.
I had gone through 5 aftermarket masters, so I checked with the local dealer, none in stock, none available. However, by a fluke another somewhat local dealer had one.
Look closely at the date.
Parts are becoming nonexistent.

I have four choices for radiators for my MJ. Spectra or Crown, Griffin or Flexalite.
Griffin and Flex are beyond $1000.
Spectra is junk, what I have now.
I'm considering Crown, copper and 2 rows.

I've had pretty good luck with them both. I'd go with Crown before spectra thats for damn sure.

The deal is that manufacturers are only required to keep stock on hand for 10 years. The last xj rolled off the line 16 years ago. That's why xj-specific NOS parts are hard to find.
I have the dorky "soccer mom" version aka "country" trim- so I have silver fender flares, silver bumpers, etc. They looked great in 1995, haha. It's all going eventually here. I definitely need a new roof rack, or at least take the one I have and plasti-dip it or just replace it outright. It's pretty faded.

Chrysler/Jeep NOS parts can be found at White Racing Products.
You'll need a part catalog for the part number and part description to search the index.
