PBR Inspired XJ
Good video guys, but I have a question about caster.
At stock ride height, the caster is pre set and, as far as I know, isn't something that can be adjusted, right? So, if I lift it, even a couple of inches, (3 for example) doesn't that change the caster angle, and the pinion angle for the front axel? Also, would having a high pinion, or low pinion differential make a difference?
I ask because my 1990 XJ is lifted 3 inches.
It's a HP D30. The steering is light, but it tends to wander a bit at slower speeds. My daughter has a 99XJ with a HP D30, but hers is not lifted.
her steering takes more effort, and tends to wander a tiny bit at highway speeds.
Both have new components, and are properly aligned. What do you guys think?
