What do you people think of these, I know they are hard to find but 22000 is pretty steep.

I've had two Grand Wagoneers and loved them.

The 4x4 is vaccum activated and probably won't work unless this has been completely restored.

This one would have an electric back window... if it doesnt work then its impossible to open the back end because the window rolls up into a channel that kind of locks it in. It can be fixed through an access panel inside but not easy when the tailgate wont open.

The engines are a 360 v8 and mine got 17mpg... you'll be hurting if gas goes to $4 per gallon BUT they're great engines.... my coolant froze solid due to a cold snap and low anti-freeze. I didnt realize it was frozen and drove about 10 miles before it overheated. I had to let it sit for an hour or so before the ice inside melted but no harm done to heads or anything.

If its in super great shape maybe $4k.... $22k is insane. WagonMasters does restorations & has good info on their site. The FSJ forums also has good info on Grand Wagoneers, Gladiators, and others.

You should make an offer on it then , I'm sure he would take close to 15k, but start out at 14 when you're negotiating.

I think 4k is way to low for a super clean example .

Wow, you guys must not live in the Rustbelt. Can't even find one here that doesn't have more rust that clean metal. And if you do it's probably been restored and they want about 22k for it.

I'm talking about the folks saying that's outrageous. Sure it's a little on the steep end here too, (Minnesota) but like you were saying 15 seems fairly reasonable. If someone was selling one that clean for under 10 it'd be a steal.

Wagonmasers has some pretty nice stuff, and people will pay it all day long.

Seeems like an exceptionally nice model. I wouldn't pay $22k for it, but I don't have a spare 22k laying around. With older SUV's, it seems like you can ask and fetch a little more than you think they'd be worth. I live in North Alabama and I see them in good condition still going for over $10k all the time. $22k seems a little steep, but it also seems to be an almost flawless Jeep, so idk.
