Default Keeping alloys clean and healthy?

Just bought some new tires and rims a few weeks ago. Any suggestions on how to keep the alloys clean and healthy for a long time?

Maybe this would help, my first thought was wax, second was a clear coat paint- link says wax.

All alloy rims get a clear coat when they are made,Use a wheel cleaner safe for clear coated rims like eagle one a2z wheel cleaner then i would use a good car wax nothing paste based tho.If you want to take a bigger step http://www.shineseal.com/ its a metal sealer,It use to be zoopa sealer but the guy came up with a better one.I havn't used the updated stuff but zoopas i did on billet rims i owned. It takes extra work to use like wash the rims rinse them off with distilled water dry them with a clean mircofiber and wear gloves when you apply the sealer if not oils from your finger prints will show up later. But once you do all the steps the sealer can last 6 months to 2 years depending where you live.

I use this on my Eccos on my '00.

I like it. Then a good waxing with Turtle Wax.

The Arden stuff can be used for cleaning a variety of things. You dilute it differently for whatever you are cleaning. For wheels and tires 1 part cleaner to 3 parts water. I use something different for my interior but I think the guy told me 1 part cleaner to 10 parts water for that.

Don't drive it off road they don't take kindly to air downs for traction like steel does, they break don't just bend.

The shine steel sounds interesting, might give it a go.

Thanks guys.
