Finally put in cup holders in the back for the kids - got sick of seeing them try to eat and hold their cups while going between hockey rinks. $35 bucks well spent. Swapped in the center console arm rest/top from a 93-98(?) Grand Cherokee. A little bit of drilling, a little bit of grinding, a little bit of - um maybe skip that verb - equals happier kids. Goes with the ZJ head rests for the back seat - hmmm - maybe I am slowling building a Grand Cherokee as opposed to making a XJ a little bit better?
Finished installing my lift. 3.5" RE springs and shocks in the front, Old Man Emu 2.75" leaf springs with RE shocks in the rear. Rugged ridge factory replacement shackles. Shackle angle is decent, but will probably upgrade to relocaters in the near future. Still need to install my JKS trackbar and RC sway bar disconnects. Front axle definitely needs to be centered and steering geometry is off. Obviously wheels/tires still too. Debating between 31s or 33s.

Haha exactly. 31s will stuff in stock flares easily, 33s will most likely rip the flares off when flexing. Or go 33s and a good set of aftermarket flares.
I am going to make a guess, at the problem. The low beams draw so little power that the relay isn't able to click over all the way?
When I switched over to Hella E Codes and the Putco harness I lost my DLR lights. Occasionally they will come on while driving, but most of the time they don't and all I can hear is the Putco relay buzzing because it isn't getting enough power to kick it over.
I know DLRs and your low beams are different problems, but the buzzing relay makes it sound like low power to the relay. Check the voltage and amp draw from the Truck Lites low beam and the specs on the relay for the module.
I had some cheap led headlamps for a short bit. They flickered when the headlights were off and they wouldn't turn off when I shut the jeep off. Called the vendor. Told me to pull the drl relay under the steering column. It fixed everything. Might just try pulling that relay. The problem with the relay is not enough draw to close the circuit.

Eventually I want to go w/ some Bushwackers or something similar and 33's fill them up better. I don't want to trim too much for 33's now, so I can't run aftermarket fenders later.... and then the regearing. I want 33s, 31s just seem so much easier.
Sunday I fixed the squeaky brakes (fingers crossed,) squeaky belt, and greased the squeaky lower control arms. Jeep is eerily quiet. Now I hear my back seat speaking haha. Also changed oil. Took a sample to send off to be analyzed. I have a 3&4 persistent misfire and an 0331 head, hoping the oil analysis says no evidence of coolant in the oil.
