Here's a couple of pics of the bar pin eliminators welded in. I know the welds are awful, but they appear to be strong and nobody will see it anyway. Got the rear shocks mounted. Now just need to move to the front.

Hey, if they work they work. I'm sure you can sand the excess down a bit. Front shocks should be cake.

We've got a ride (easy one) planned for the 22 I believe. Join us. We usually go to Windrock or Royal Blue too. Wide variety of rigs.

If I get my front end lifted and my tires mounted, I may have to take you up on that! Speaking of, do you know anybody that mounts and balances tires cheap locally?

Honestly, I use my buddy who works at Harper. Guy and Garage is sort of "the" all around off-road tech in the area. He should be able to.

Other than that, Tire Barn or Discount Tire.

I abandoned the T-bird springs in favor of some Rubicon Express 3.5" coils. The only ones I could find originally from the Junkyard were from a V8 model and I've read so many horror stories about it being too stiff on the trails and road that I've decided against them. The new RE springs should be here in the next couple of weeks. Pics of those and the install coming soon.

I also decided the hit Home Depot for some 1" square steel, some M10-1.50x50mm bolts, and M10 lock washers. I will be making a 1" transfer case drop. All part numbers are in the pictures below:

Weird find on the thunderbird springs that I'm not using. Why did Ford feel like this tag was necessary?

Rubicon Express front coils installed. Also got the JK Rubicon shocks put in on Rough Country BPE's. I straightened out the brake lines for more travel as well. You can also see the new Rubicon Express HD track bar mount. The sway bar end links are Ford F-250 rears.

More of the Rubicon Express double shear track bar.

With the stock wheels.

It's hard to see, but there is a Rubicon Express steering stabilizer in there now. In the picture, the wheels look like they have negative camber, but in reality, they are straight. Weird angle I suppose.

New trail master wheels with the used 31x10.50r15 tires installed.

Quick dip off the pavement to see where the mud lands.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do next. I'll probably make my TC drop out of the 1" box tube I picked up soon. It doesn't seem to vibrate much though, so I'm not sure it's really needed at this point unless someone thinks it will ruin my u-joints.

Decided to go ahead and upgrade/replace the steering components since the steering seems to be pretty sloppy. Here is what I ordered. Should be here in a week or so.

1 - ULTRA-POWER DS1238 Drag Link
1 - MAS D1312 Tie Rod End
2 - MAS T3096 Tie Rod for ZJ
2 - MAS S2079 Tie Rod End Adjusting Sleeve

Looks great! I just finished my lift too, and I also had got some 1" box to make tc drop with. But I don't notice any vibes either. Looking good!!

Thanks for the compliment!

I noticed at about 60mph yesterday there was some roaring, but I can't tell if it's drivetrain related or just the tires howling. I think I'm going to knock out the steering sloppiness first and then probably start cutting the metal to make the TC drop.
