I wouldn't recommend it. You may need to deal with him in the future and it would be better to be on good terms. Just be sure you're making an informed decision as a consumer and that way you can negotiate the best possible price with him at that time.

He already knows he's a crook. The only thing you'll be telling him is that you know he's a crook.

As it stands, you have useful information that he doesn't have. Why give it to him?
