For now...hahahaha I had one on my old white 2 door xj but that thing pissed me off so much, I didn't think I'd ever buy another xj...so I let the carrier and wagoneer tail lights go with it and now I kick myself....

I loved that I found one and was able to have it. Now I think all XJs should of came with one, or at least more had them, they tie the back end together IMO.

I think you had the first year carrier. Mine has two crossbars in the middle for extra support between the rails. I paid $180 for mine and came with everything but the quarter panel brace, the welds and light for the license works great too so I was worth it.

I think I might of had 30 bucks in mine...hahaha I really kick myself for how hard they are to find....the only thing I had to do was cut the hole in the bumper for the latch and drill the holes in the body, well and drill two holes in the hatch for the plate, never put a light on it but never got pulled over either lol I think ares where the same tho, here's a better shot

Here's the backside of mine. Mine came with the bumper so all I had to do was drill the holes for the quarter panel and replace the bumper. I put grade 8 washers between the bolts and bushings for extra support for the heavier 31s I have on it. You can see the difference in the corner where I have a tube going to both corners, you only had one.

Ohh yup, yours was a little different. I think the one I had came off a 87, but not for sure. I didn't do anything different with the way mine was, except run a chain to hold it when it was open. I thought about grabbing the bumper but didn't feel like messing with it lol it was easier cutting the hole lol it worked great until my bumper brackets started rusting away, then it was a pain to latch it, had to pull up on the bumper, while trying to close it, to get it to latch lol

I only had 3/4 of my brackets before haha had replacements at hand when I did the swap. Also don't have the rubber trim between the bumper and body anymore, which I prefer since it's a pain to work and clean the bumper with it on.

I think I had maybe 1/4 left when I sold it lol there was a lot of play in the bumper when I got rid of it hahahaha. They do make it a pain to clean the bumper, we just had 1ft of some, I know ain't much hahahhaha, and all the slush and crap keeps building up back there. Mines only 2 wheel drive, other wise Id be buyin different bumpers lol

Turbines (the wheels you have in the third pic) are my favorite XJ wheels for an 84-96 XJ.

YJ, TJ, ZJ, XJ, KJ, and KK all have the same bolt pattern (5x4.5 or 5x114.3) and center bore. I have a list compiled of all alloy 5x4.5 Jeep wheels with whatever extra info about them I've been able to confirm. I'll probably add the steelies to at at some point.

Ravines or Icon's all the way!

Too bad you're so far away. I have a set of 5 Ravines and 90% Duratracs for sale.
