I'm in Southwest Louisiana, between Lafayette and Lake Charles. new to the forum, and the jeep world. Just picked up a 95 XJ 4.0 H.O.

 

Cool man. Theres a few of us from new iberia and laf. That are making a jeep cherokee club. Like louisiana jeepers but pretty much all cherokees and grand cherokees if your interested. The jeep jaunt is oct. 20th you can sign up there in the morning before the ride. But its a benefit for breast cancer ***. The jeep jaunt starts are celebrity threatre in broussard, la. Plan on geting there early if you want to come. Theres always alot of jeeps. Last jeep jaunt had 350+ jeeps. The ride leaves the celebrity threatre and goes to cyprus bayou casink its about an hour ride police escorted all in a line with all the jeeps. No stoppin at ted lights are anything it goes threw I believe 3 towns. Once you get there theres a bunch of door prises you can win. And all sorts of cool stuff to do free food drinks and a good time.

 

And as of right now no rides planned but we need to get one planned in the weekend thats best for everyone nice cool weather and maybe go ride wheel and camp for a night are a weekend are something. I been ready to do it. And the weathers about to be real nice for it.

 

How wants to give me a bunch of money to buys things for my Jeep so I can make trips to the N.I., Laf. Area? Didn't think so it was worth a shot.

 

You come down here. And buy parts= productive day in my book you spend money I gain money. And you leave with parts. Everyone leaves with a win win lol

 

Anyone wanting to meet up to go to the jeep jaunt the day of the ride its oct 20th early between730 and 9 you have to be there than the rode leaves after that

 

Ok no ones coming itll still be fun. Well have 3 xjs in the hole place like last year out of 365 jeeps lol jj around our part of louisiana xjs are geting more and more comman. We see they all pimped out all the time now I think we started a jeep revolution on this side of la. People see our jeeps and are man I got one of those parked out back let me know I rack on it and itll look dope. Lol

 

Sorry was planning on going but the jeep decided it was running good for too long (a few weeks) and blew out the clutch slave cylinder.

 

We went to the jeep jaunt. We had 18 wranglers ride out there. It was a blast. And I saw a few xj's. A grand cherokee and a old wagoneer. Great day and a huge turnout. Makes me miss my xj man.

 

You should of hit us up me brett and jordan was out there. I had my black one with the custom ford raptor grill brett xj beans was behind me in his zj and jordan idk whats his name on here was in a red 2 dr behind us. With the doors off. It was a blast 3rd year in a row for me and brett 2nd time for jordan well worth the ride huh?
