Ohh sweet sweet iv had no luck. Iv seen a few but they all need **** loads of work.

 

I look on Craigslist everyday and nothing, The ones they have on their now iv already seen, They all need way to much work for what they are asking. Iv seen like 3 in person so far, one has a over heating problem, one needs the interior redone, a/c doesnt work, and its not 4x4, and the other one has body damage out the @ss. No luck so far.

 

Yea either they need alot of work alot of time I want a right arm for them.

yeah very true but ill keep looking. If any of you guys see any around town for sale let me know, must be 4x4. They had one entering pull a part last week in really good condition but when i got there they had already had it on the scale and i didn't know what was wrong with it. Its a shame how people just give up and either junk them or scrap them for a few hundred bucks when it can be something simple.

 

Yeap thats the best ones to find for 2-300 bucks with a blown transmission are something cause people think transmissions are worth 1700. But all you have to do is find another 2-300 donar jeep with whatever you need good on it. And bam you have a nice capable legit family grocery go getter/ trail rig and fit everyone in it. Go camping wheeling, parade. Whatever. There a great overall everything vechile. Ive owned like 6 are 7 of them.

 

Yeah your right. Iv owned 2 of them about 2 years ago had a 4x4 limited and a 2wd country. Got back into Tuners and racing and now i want a XJ again and its killing me. lol Im willing to trade my car for one thats lifted and in good condition that may need a bit of work but not much.

 

My friend brett (xjbeans) he just sold his zj and we been looking for anothee xj for him but its getting harder and harder to find them in ok condition

Yess!!! People have fallen on their heads man its crazy what people ask for a 15-20 year old jeep. I went to go look at a 96 4 door the other day, lady was asking 2500 it was 2wd lifted on a rough country maybe 3 or 4 inches not sure, tires were bald, 2 tires were flat, body had dents and dings everywhere, broken windshield, the interior had to be pretty much redone, needs new carpet, no headliner, the switches didn't work, the window motors were broken, a/c didn't work, battery was dead. I was like man what a shame i got her down to $1700 and honestly think i can go buy it for 1200 0r 1500 cash. But to me it just was not worth it since it was not 4wd

 

So whats everyone been up too. This thread is becoming dead lets get it moving again.

 

Lets all get together one afternoon, weekend, or w/e. I have only met a few guys in the area since I am new here. Any takers?? cold beer and jeep talk, sound good?
