YJ threw a rod straight down into the oil pan on the way to that M&G Friday. Just got the call from the shop today with the diagnosis. There were no warning signs; just bad noises, lost power, and no oil pressure. I've had it less than two months. Had a fresh tune up, two week old Mobile1, and a new Purolator filter.

I'm looking for a donor and considering a 4.5L stroker depending on the price I pay for a motor.

Also, **** Enterprise Rental. I was a repeat customer of multiple visits, but they decided my money isn't good enough for them with an out-of-state license. "You aren't special just because you're in the army." My money will be going elsewhere in the future.
I just posted how much I liked your Wrangler then read this. Sorry to hear about that. Time for a bionic wrangler, built bigger and stronger !

If my motor ever craps out I will definitely do the stroker upgrade.

Is this thing back on the road yet? Just slap a stock motor back in it and drive it.

It's been sitting since August. I lost the keys while I was back home in Ohio cause I'm an idiot. I went to the dealership to run the VIN so I could get the right security keys, and their records show it doesn't have the VATS security system. It does.

So I need to install a new cylinder and a bunch of resistors and play around til it starts. Then I need to replace everything in the front brake system AGAIN because the right caliper still locks unexpectedly.

Welcome to my life.

I work 12 hours on/12 off repeating. Today is the first chance I have to go look at a replacement motor, but I don't have a way to transport it, and the Jeep is still an hour away in Baltimore with no way for me to tow it.

Tim do you have Thomas number? If you give him a little gas money you could use his tow dolly. Unless time is gonna rape you. Ask tommy tell him the yj needs help.

Gonna bring it up here to Maryland for me? I also don't have anything I can tow with. I'm driving a '00 VW Jetta TDI that a friend is letting me borrow.

No. Rent a U-haul truck and dolly for a couple hours.
