Default Moving to Alaska

Hey guys I am moving to Alaska next month and just wondering if there are any people on here from Fairbanks area. I would also like to know what are the better trail to run near Fairbanks. Looking forward to everyones input.

There are a few people on here from up north. But they are on rarely. Make sure to get your jeep ready.
Undercoat it and get a block heater. Fairbanks gets cold.

I'm Rollin to the great white north as well, but I'm gonna be in Juneau (weak Alaska) =P undercoat everything! Por-15 is what my paint shop buddy is juneau is going to use when I get up there. You will definitely need a block heater like Brandon said, Fairbanks gets real cold!!!

i just moved to Anchorage a little over a month ago... i see tons of lifted xj's up here but i guess they don't get on this forum...

I'm here in Fairbanks but haven't really been wheeling since I sold my CJ7's a few years back. Just bought a new to me XJ to get rolling. I can point you in the right direction for a few things and help you get the lay of the land. Just PM me and we can make contact when you get here.

I'm in Soldotna and always looking to go wheeling look me up if anyone ever comes down I have always wanted to a BUNCH of xj together and hit Jim's creek too

Defintally get a block heater and it an auto start for winter, Heated seats are nice also. Also, AC for the summer.

Thanks guy for all the replys. I have an engine block heater and a battery blanket all ready to install once I get there. I get to fairbanks on tuesday, but my jeep will be there on the 22nd. I am really looking forward to taking it out on the Alaskan trails.

Keep an eye out for me lol . I'm chillin in Juneau. It has been clear sky's all week but cold.
