what would be the downside to getting the 4.5" coils opposed to the 3.5". I see there cheaper which usually means theres going to more to it.

like a combo of these instead of the 3.5"

With 4" or more, I'd do a SYE. Might not be needed, but I'd feel better about driving it with a SYE at that much lift. Once you get so high its required anyways. You should at least do a t case drop with that much lift, if you dont do the SYE. And from what Ive seen, most 4.5"+ lifts come with new control arms, at least the lowers, if not upgraded to long arms. Even my roommates cheap RC 4.5" lift came with new LCAs and a t case drop. And we are replacing the UCAs as well, SYE will come as soon as he can afford it.
And the front springs you posted are 5.5" of lift, the rear springs are 4.5". Which height you want?

Overall, there is going to be more involved with the 4.5" or bigger than a 3.5" or smaller lift. More involved = more expensive.

SYE? does mean something along the lines of yoke eliminator?

Ill go with a 3.5" for now, not looking to do more than I have too. Down the road is a different story.

Yeah, slip yoke eliminator. Easier to type out the acronym than the whole thing.

works for me. So I've decided to start of with the 3.5" coils and probably s10 leafs. Dug around for about an hour through old topics and found a really nice write up on it. Appreciate the info by all means.
