Strange Shifting Problem
I have a 97 Grand Cherokee Laredo. It has the 5.2L/V8. I am the original owner and it has 133,000 miles. I have had absolutely no trouble out of it other than general maintenance. It recently began having a shifting problem. It shifts from 1st-2nd just fine, however to get it to shift from 2nd-3rd you have to accelerate to about 2000-2500 rpm's and let off of the gas. It will coast and when the rpm's drop to about 1500 it will shift. It goes into OD just fine after that. The only problem is from 2nd-3rd. Any thoughts?
