Hello everyone,,recently picked my first 92 XJ limited after owning jeeps most of my life..something diffrent..I can camp in it away from the bears!! Problem is the headlights just stuck on,, Having read all the posts I can find on the forums,,and checking the drl module, replacing it, leaving it off ect, checked the handbrake, checked the door switch, only way to turn them off is remove the fuse...even replaced the head light switch..Anybody got any good ideas,I would be eternally grateful....

 

are you talking about your headlights or the interior dome lights?

 

I wish it was only the dome lights, one can live without those!!No its the headlights..Even with everything off ,no key, no daytime running lights module,,still the lights stay on.. The only way to turn them off is with removing the fuse...Installed a new headlight switch a month ago so I think the switch is ok..When you turn on the headlight switch ,all the taillights and come on normally...Hard to find a wire diagram for the headlight system,,even the haines manual seems to be missing the info along with the horn wire diagram..but that,s another story,,
