Hey, just wondering if you have any other details on the roof rack not included in this thread https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f58/cu...go-rack-24598/.

Also, what did you use to cut the pipe and what to bend the pipe? Did you use a foot bender to bend it or?

Going to buy what ever you used to cut it and rent the bender just to keep in mind.

    Thanks!

hey warthog! i'm new to the forum but i've been looking at your pictures for a while. Your Roof rack build inspired me to build my own which i just finished minus paint. How's yours holding up on the stock racks. Also i was thinking about using bedliner to paint it. do u think that would work good?

Oh I see, yeah that sucks. Well like I said it was only a short while and I mean Short lol. But I am in the guard up in Michigan and that is where I worked on the A-10. But anyways I only ended up working the avionics on it for about 2 years then our base was affected by the BRAC and they transfered our planes. I decided to cross train to ground radio lol, which isnt too bad actually. Now my base is getting c-27's and I volunteered and was accepted to become a loadmaster for that plane . Yeah Im a job whore I know

So you're in the Air Force? I have been thinking about joining the military. I was hoping to go USMC but if it didn't work out I was interested in Air Force Combat Controller Teams. Do you have any experience with them?

Hey, I have been checking out your roof rack . Think i'm going to do something kinda like yours. I was wondering how sturdy is it? I like how you did the cross braces screwed to the lower part of the frame it makes things look clean. I'm not looking to put hundreds of pounds worth of stuff on them but most likely a spare tire 30", my high lift and some light camping gear. Also is there anything you'd do different or change up?
