    In regards to your locker question. No, if you're installing a lunch box locker you don't need to remove the carrier. To remove the c-clips, pull the cover and on the carrier you'll see a bolt. You need to remove this bolt (it's locktited from the factory, don't worry, it'll come out with some muscle). After you have the bolt out you need to slide the pin out. Now that the pin is out the spider gears can come out, so be careful if you aren't ready to remove them. With the pin out push the axle shaft inwards and the c-clip will usually fall off on it's own. If not, just reach in and push it off the shaft. Hope that helps you.
