    It was the stator, I got it wet degreasing the engine.

    Did you get it running? Was it the cps? Grounds? Clogged cat? Stator?
    I read a post from a guy who said he hooked up a scan tool to his 91 Cherokee 4.0 and got alot out of it.
    It needed the Chrysler adaptor cable. Which I'm trying to get now.....its for Action scanners.
    I got a no start and everything checks OK new distributor after the stator disintegrated.
