With stock bumper I received a little body damage coming off a rock, so I built my rear bumper with bats underneath to slide off rocks.

Top Hat Rack Back, thi rack has two mounting tabs, so this is where the 2 studs I welded onto the ladder rest and secures with wing nuts.

Top Bolt Up, on my Top Hat rack there are rear bolt holes, so I welded a stud into the ladder and then rested these 2 bolts on top, with the wing nuts I secure them (rubber mounts inbetween). Pull 2 pins on bottom, unscrew to top wing nuts and the ladder pulls right off, less then 1 minute.

To get the angles on the square tubing I used an old hacksaw and cut until I got the angle I needed, then I just repeated the same amount of cuts on 4 pieces. A little cut at a time. Then I welded the cuts and braced it for strength.

Bumper Bracket, this is where the ladder system sits and connects. Metal placed between my bumper ends and the main section.

This slides onto the bumper brackets, and then a quick release hold it into place.

Bottom Pin Hook Up with quick release pin. My bumper caps bolt on, so I made a plate to go between (needed my room between bumper and body) that has a hole cut out for this ladder to rest on.

I thought I needed a brace between the two so I decided to place on there. I'm 240lbs and climb up there all the time. It could be built sturdier, but I'm fine with this size square tube.
