I'll plate the tubing like this. In addition there will be a plate under the whole thing on a similar plane as my fabbed skid plate with probably an inch between the skid and the bottom of the bumper. The lower piece will be dimple died like the skid plate to make it more strong and allow for drainage of water and mud.
