I am guessing this is where the problem started. after this break the entire frame twisted and broke apart

cleaned and painted the hitch. Bolted back in with JCR nutstrips. Highly recommended!

I tapped it with a hammer and it came right off. The welder must have been set to bubblegum settings. extra cold/no penetration
