I was originally planning on mounting my hi-lift to the side of my roof rack, but realized that the jack was too heavy to hang off the side.

Secured it using a couple of 3/4" bolts and wingnuts. I drilled the bolt ends to accommodate a 1/4" padlock for security/theft deterrent.
