During sanding had to scrap some failed clear coat off the hood. used a steel plate as an ice scraper. 1 x 2 foot area took 2 hours to remove.

started sanding, Random orbital sander and 100 grit sand paper. 9 hours to complete.

all done sanding ready for base coat. Washed the night before to remove all the dust

all done; ready for base coat, Wiped down mineral Spirits and taped the windows off

primed: Base coat took 8 cans Rust-Oleum Specialty Camouflage Deep Forest Green-4 hours.

i taped different size symbols to the jeep to figure out what size looked the best. Then made 15 Bio Hazard symbol templates on heavy paper - three for each color used. each template took 15 min to cut out with x-acto knife

bio hazard paint test run - Primed cardboard with base coat then used 1 Template to spray each color. Experimented with paint coverage & using all or partial of the symbol

first color on. NOTE: Using a Symmetrical object as a template is difficult, due to the advice given is to rotate the template 1/3 after each spray

three colors on the hood. You can see I went in a direction group of spraying, took a break for 5 minutes then painted across it for a second coverage. The goal was to have the best coverage of the symbols and keep the jeep total color light.

did roof racks. had to sand, prime with black paint, then base coat, then camo. Removed radiator grill from JEEP, Cleaned, base coat black then other colors for bio symbol, reinstalled.

Decided to use jeep for Halloween - ordered stickers for side window. Went to the Army surplus store for an outfit. Painted Zombi Squad tag ZSC005 for Seattle on rear bumper

paint used- also used the dark brown will replace photo later Rust-Oleum-Deep Forest Green-Base coat used only 5 cans of spray paint for camo colors = 3 hours.
