Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
This Cherokee was purchased after an exhaustive search for a different car (Subaru) ended up with unsatisfactory results and I was burnt out on car shopping. I thought since Jeeps were reliable (with the 4.0L) I'd be OK. Mine wasn't OK.

The main purposed for this Jeep is NOT typical wheeling. While I am lifted (see below mods) it is not for crawling. The modifications and lift are designed for storm chasing and filming needs for my company and hobbies. The lift gets me through deep snow and high surge waters during hurricanes among other things.

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
No engine modifications...yet. Engine is not healthy, but runs and drives.

No drivetrain modifications other than lockers are anticipated. None exist now. Auto/231/30/8.5 (aka as stock config) is the set-up

Suspension Modifications:
3" Rough Country Series II with only AAL (will switch to full springs or might...maybe...do a springs and rear disc brake swap....much later.

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
31" Definity Dakotas ATs (aka the generic BF Goodwrench ATs that are 80% as good).

15" ZJ Canyons

Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Exterior:
--JK Front Bumper
--DIY custom roof rack
Interior:
--DIY overhead mounting system. Nothing mounted yet though.
--Rear carpet removed
--access cover to rear shock mount points.

Future Modifications:
Engine:
--FIX ;-)

Suspension/steering:
--Switch to BDS 3" with full leafs or....
--new rear diff w/locker and do a springs and disc brake upgrade all at the same time
--better, more higher powered steering box/pump, etc.

Exterior:
--Antenna mount (work on it now)
--Winch (though would like to keep JK bumper somehow, if poss.)
--Bedlined colormatched on roof, hood, rockers (though may just get sliders).
--lights (only 2 front, 1 rear high powered, rest just low powered flood lighting)
--some sort of spare tire and fuel can mountings (don't know which way to go yet)

Interior:
--clean and coat (so it doesn't get dirty so fast), keeping factory look though
--switch from tan carpet to black
--switch center console from tan to black
--switch headliner from tan to black
--bedline rear cargo area (black)
--CB, Ham Radio, scanner.
--camera mounts all around. Live streaming and/or reg. filming. Read more ยป

Friends garage, I barely fit (1/4" clearance at garage door opening). Here you see the JK bumper upgrade and DIY roof rack.

Interior shown with laptop stand/table by Jotto. It has since been removed as I mostly use an iPad now.
