Made this for my dad 2 years ago. I love how it turned out and had a hard time parting with it. The HD logo is hand painted on a steel insert that is framed with clear pine stained with a walnut stain and a satin poly.

I thought that the crossing grain patterns was a cool look. With the pine it gives a very deep look. This one was made out of cheapo menards pine.

Here is the dragon light in the daylight. The cool thing about this is that I made it out of old skid wood. It is all oak that was planed at different thicknesses
