Default The X J Mystery Electrical Thingy


What is this thing ? It sticks out below the Distributer . I broke it off changing oil. On a 1999 Jeep XJ Cherokee.

Here it is broke off .Can I glue it back on, toss it or what do I need to do

A person would think something like this that can do so much damage when broke it thinking of mud clods ,ice and and snow.
The new sensor is shorter . Well again thankyou very much.

For the dummy light, I imagine? My sending unit for the actual gauge is much larger and looks like a bell with a single connection on the back.
