Default What is this orange wire and what is it tapped into?

I just bought this a few weeks ago. Slowly going through everything. New spark, sensors, battery cables, full cleaning, fluid change etc. Previous owner tapped into something with the orange wire. I have no idea what is happening here. Any help appreciated.
