Hi all....has anyone have any info or manuals on the pictured unit please, in a 1997 XJ...also runs a 6 stacker CD that's under the rear seat, but I can't get it up on the radio unit.
I know they offered an accessory Mopar A/M-F/M-CD radio with detachable faceplate that was available for the mid-1990's Cherokee XJ's up until 1996 and Wrangler YJ's since a CD player wasn't available from the factory in those Jeeps (the Grand Cherokee ZJ, up until, 1997, was the only Jeep to offer a factory-equipped CD player), but I've never seen this particular radio before (the Mopar accessory radios are pretty rare, you never see them).
In regards to the CD changer, is it maybe FM modulated? Is there a separate control near the dash for it? With most 1990's CD changers, you'd tune the radio to a certain FM radio station and then it would use that FM radio station to play the audio from the CD... it's not a part of the radio itself. I suppose that station is specified in the manual. I'd suggest having the CD play and scanning through FM stations until you hear the CD audio.

Thanks Vince,
The radio is in a RHD Australian Jeep version....I will try to see if the cd plays through the FM band....the manual I just got online shows that via the SRC button 'changer' should appear onscreen then using the numbered preset buttons to select a disc.
I can only get AUX to display but no go on the cd.
Will have to keep trying
