Security lock out
I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I have one Key only and no remote. I was able to drive it without issues just unlocking & opening the door with the key. I parked it for a bit and the battery died.
So I replaced a new battery and now I cant fire up the vehicle. The Security light stays on now indicating its not going to start. Is there any way to clear this without a remote Fob? Thanks !

Not sure if it will work on your Jeep, but I've seen this issue cleared up on Chrysler vehicles by locking the door from the inside, close the door and unlock with the key from the outside.
