Question Remote start that will turn on defrosters and Heated Seats?

I have an 01' XJ Lim. Is there a remote start that will turn on my defrosters and heated seats? Or is my xj just too old for those kinds of things?

Thanks in advance!

Are you capable of wiring it all up yourself? Or will you be having an authorized installer do it?

Also do you know if you have the sentry system? What color is your key?

Your higher-end DEI models will have this ability. I use an Avital 5303L to do this exact thing with my defrost/heated mirrors. I am not familiar with how the wiring for the heated seats works but it should be similar.

The 5303 was replaced by the 5305 recently.

You have the Sentry system, so you'll need a bypass module.

Work with your installer to pick the right model.
