Double Dinn to Single Dinn + CD Pocket

I see this as a possibility but can't for the life of me, find a kit that is worth my time. Does anyone recommend a solid brand and or kit to go with?

The stock radio in my 2001 Cherokee Sport is a big for no reason radio.

If stock it will be a single dinn. you can put a double dinn in but will require cutting of the trim bezel !

Stock is actually 1.5. I’ve looked and there are hardly any available. Search double din in XJ Cherokee. There a lots who have done it. There’s a replacement panel marketed for the TJ. I always thought the TJ used the same center panel as the XJ but maybe not.

Yeah stock is 1.5 din.

Metra makes an adapter with a CD pocket - I think this is the correct one for the 97+ XJ's

I have one but am going to switch to one without it because I want the radio to be centered and it looks much cleaner without the pocket
