Actually I got it. Two of those 6 wires on the newer style brake switch is for the lights. The others are for the ecu and stuff. Basically they integrated 3 different connectors into one.
So I just gotta figure out which two are for brake lights and splice then to the renix brake wiring. That way I won't need to **** around with the push rod.

More progress today...
Drilled the holes for the clutch master... if you look under the dash inside the cab, you will see three dimples...
Unfortunately it's dimpled from the inside so you gotta drill pilot holes from the inside first.
Then go around to the engine compartment, drill 3/8 holes on top and bottom pilot holes for the clutch master mounting holes. Then use the 1-1/4 hole saw to drill out the middle one.
This is what it looks like underneath..
So the other progress is pulling the engine harness along with other stuff..
Wow the compartment look so.... uncluttered.
I guess tomorrow I ll swing by Walmart and buy a couple of cans of dark grey paint and masking tape. Hopefully paint it over the weekend or something.
On Sunday the plan is to pull the front axle and associated stuff so I can weld the stiffeners on.
If time permitting. I ll like to reinstall the 129k mike steering box and the steering brace.

Well. I'm using a 94 XJ pedal box so it already has the brake switch on it. I dunno if u can make it work on the renix brake pedal. Since it's in different location.

No, I don't lick fish.
Neal as soon as the first time he spills when adding oil to his freshly painted and detailed engine...

Looking around in the attic of the garage (where I keep all my parts). I saw that I have a RE track bar brace. So after googling, I ll need RE1665 track bar bracket. Hopped on eBay and found one for $54 shipped.
I ll have to make a custom track bar after the bracket is mounted and the dana 44 mocked under it, for measurement purposes.
I also found another track bar brace that I cannot find out who made it. I ll like to use it on my XJ. I ll post pics up later.
I also ordered some split loom sheathing to replace those brittle and crumbling ones on the harness.

This morning I took the front beam axle out along with the suspension stuff.
Attachment 403361
Attachment 403362
Then the front crossmember stiffener got burned on
Attachment 403363
The front side stiffeners got welded on
Attachment 403364
Time to put the 97+ washer bottle
So I had to drill the hole out for the fill neck and two mounting holes

Overall. Good day
