No Vacuum?
I recently redid my vacuum harnesses and fittings, as well a replaced the break booster and master cylinder and injectors. While replacing the booster I also added a vacuum gauge in line from the booster to the manifold. I have had a higher idle and notice that my gauge is showing absolutely no Vacuum. I know if MAP isn't reading vacuum it will just dump fuel. Is it time to refresh gaskets all around?
As for a vacuum leak, I know there is or I'd have a vacuum reading at the gauge. Just looking on ideas of where to look since I already did injectors, fuel lines, vacuum harnesses and lines, as well as air filter. My thought is it's probably the intake manifold gasket. You said check valve, the fuel pump check valve?
Sounds like there is a leak somewhere and possibly a check valve installed backwards aswell
