I'm looking at a stock '89 Comanche and I think the seller has it priced a little high at $2900. Kelly Blue Book's website doesn't go back further than 1994 so I'm not sure what to offer for it. 272k miles on the clock, long bed, and new suspension. It has the four banger engine too.

2900 is WAY TOO MUCH to pay for any vehicle that has a quarter of a million miles on it. Too many strikes against it, 4 cylinder, a ton of miles, and it has a 4 cylinder.

Believe it or not I've been trying to find one of these trucks with the 4 banger. I plan to keep it stock and restore it as best I can to use as a grocery getter. Its a manual 4-speed and it is cosmetically in good shape- I have yet to take her out for a test drive. I might offer 1600. Found a KBB alternative: NADAguides.com.

$2900 would be worth it to me if it was 100% rust free and had a shiny paint job.
In reality, trucks like you posted seem to go anywhere from $1k to $2k depending on your location.
