Aw4 to ax15 reverse lights

Aw4 to ax15 reverse lights
I can’t get the lights to work. They worked before the swap. I have a 1990 MJ pioneer.
I used this diagram for reference.
I have spliced the ax15 reverse switch into E and A.
Niether pin E or A show any voltage.
I have applied 12volts to both E and A and no lights
The trans fuse is good.
I did remove and sell the TCM for the aw4, could that be my issue? Any help would be awesome.
