1989 mj
I have a mj with a 2.5 and a 4.0 from an Cherokee 1991 I want to install it to my mj can I just drop it in and plug it in with the wiring from the 1991 and use the mjs from firewall back or will I need to do a full wire swap also and what else will I run in to doing this? Engine mounts fuel tank and what not thank you for any help on this topic |
you will need everything.... I mean everything .....and I think you would have to weld in new engine mounts so to put it short its a big job

Yep. Everything. Cause 89 & 91 had entirely different engine management system.

motor mounts are different? yes engine mounts are in different locations on a 2.5 vs a 4.0
