Default What is the name of the part?

Hi all,
i have identified a crack front bushing in the passenger side of my 2019 cherokee kl. Believe or not, the service dealership couldn’t find the rattling noise. Anyway do you know the name of the part that i would need to replace and buy? Picture attached of of the intact side and the damage side.

Driver side

Passenger side

any help appreciated!

That looks like the boot on the outer tie rod. I do not know how a tie rod boot could crack like that, being that new. Any dealer should be able to take care of that for you. Also, that should not really cause any kind of rattling noise.

In my experience they get torn when a technician uses a fork instead of a tie rod end separator.

Thanks for the replies. I guess rattling is not the best description but clunking might be more accurate.

Clunking could be related to a tie rod end, it could also be related to brakes. When exactly does the clunking occur?

No warranty ? Does look like it's been punctured though, extremely unlikely from road debris.

Is this a clunk when steering or hitting bumps. I would crawl underneath and have someone cycle the steering back and forth 1/2 turn while you look at and feel all the joints. If the tie-rod end is bad, you'll see or feel the sloppiness.
