Warning lights galore after flat towing!
I just had the towing clamps and lighting and breaking systems installed by the RV place we use ( per the dealership, they didn't want to do it). The kit was from Blue Ox. The maiden voyage and last camping expedition of the year launched without a problem. We get to the campgrounds and unhook easily.
When we set out to hit the grocery store the weird stuff started happening:
warning lights and messages galore. The brake light is on like the brake is in, but we can drive. I don't know if it's somewhat engaged and I feel a drag or I'm just paranoid. The weird "A" to the right of the message screen is on (it's yellow). The message saying that auto off and on when you stop isn't working keeps popping up. What really bizarre is it all doesn't happen when we first start it up. All or some of it will not appear for miles.
Has anyone ever had this experience? We don't head home until Tuesday, so if there isn't some way to "reboot" the system I'll have to find a dealership on Monday so we don't do damage towing home, or driving around.
