We've had our trailhawk for about a year, just over 10k miles and love it. 2.4 4cylinder has plenty of power for day to day use.

We just took it in for its airbag flash recall and (I know that this should have no impact but...), I have noticed a dramatic drop in mpg since. Down from averaging 17.6 to about 15.2.

In an unrelated (I believe as it pre existed this), issue I think a UJ on the prop may be warn as it has started to clunk under light acceleration and braking.

Has anyone else noticed these things with theirs?

 

mine is doing the exact same thing, turn wheel accel, pop.. brake, pop...
shift in weight seems to do it too.. especially at low set speed..
i need to take it in...
i may just trade for a rubicon,

 

Yeah. It's a worry on a new car with a low mileage. I'm going to book it in next week and see what they say. Will keep you posted on the outcome.

Has anyone else noticed this (muting the radio is the only real way to hear it)

 

I'm headed in to the pit in a couple weeks for the airbag recall and will pay attention to this.
