Lightbulb Make Cherokee Latitude more of a trail rated

I own a 2015 Cherokee Latitude. This past weekend I took my 2015 Cherokee Latitude some trails with a friend of mine. The Jeep did great with the exception of some electrical issues after going through some high water trails (headlights looked like strobes probably because of a short). I know the Cherokee Latitude is not 'Trail Rated', but I was looking for some upgrades to make it more trail rated. I've already upgraded my tires to AT tires, but wanted to know if there is anything I can do or add to make it handle the waterlogged trails a little better.

You really can't do much to make it better in the water. These vehicles simply aren't designed to be plowed through water much at all.

IF you have ADII then you have low range which is a big asset and is the same 4x4 system as the Trailhawk (just without the locker). Add some skid plates, and maybe have a muffler shop put in a different/smaller muffler so that you don't rip it off while offroad.
