I have a new 80th Anniversary Edition Cherokee that I would like to add the OEM ventilated seats to. My unit already has the perforated leather seat covers and heated seats installed. Can I just install and plug in the OEM seat cushion blowers and the system auto-magically recognize and allow them to operate using my 8.4" touchscreen?

I have learned that their are 2 separate blowers in each seat. part #s 55057474AB (lower) and 55057475AB (upper) are used on both passenger/driver seats.

Any technical help would be greatly appreciated to install these myself, but I am More Than Willing to have a dealership do it for me. I just want to know if a Computer Flash is REGUIRED to make them work.

 

Any way to get another distribution pad if it gets damaged? Is it an off the shelf part?
