New Guy here and thank you for letting me in.

2018 Latitude with factory remote start. I purchased new. Now 85k. Recently noticed that if it is started remotely, when I put the key in the ignition it shuts down the motor. Also notice that if I push the brake before I put in the key it will shut down. (Never did that before.) Also noticed it not stating right up with the key. This happens intermittently. Any ideas? Thank you.

 

Just in case anyone might be interested in what the outcome of the jeeps problems. Although the battery had tested OK, I replaced it anyway based on age. Amazingly everything is working properly now. So, there you have it.
One other note. After replacing the battery I had the CEL on. I had to reset the steering module and erase the codes. Resetting the steering was a matter of turning the wheel from stop to stop 3 times. (Found a video on it).
