Im skeptical, about the longevity of my KL, i dont think it will be as durable as the XJ... so ill be trading it for something else next month,
1 reason is how often it burns through oil, i have never had a vehicle go through oil this fast... squeaks and pops are starting to occur, and i have not been off road in some time.. and all the recalls and electronic issues... it to me is borderline lemon..
i have posted what i love about it.. and what i hate but.. i just have a gut feeling this vehicle will not out last the payments.. back to wrangler...

I've heard from shops about replacing transmissions on those things already. One shop replaced 2 transmission already and it's only been out for a little while.

25K miles no issues and towing a lot of the time. Jeep is working wonderfully and I do not burn oil.

15K on mine, and sounds/smells brand new. No oil problems at all.

Irritations:

1. Wish I could keep a couple of dents off it, courtesy morons in parking lots who have no clue how to open a car door when parked next to someone. That's not Jeep's issue.

2. Uconnect is still weird: ignores the USB drive too much, "forgets" preset stations from time to time, but nothing a reboot doesn't fix now that I know how to do it. And the navigation system is still the best I've ever used so far.

3. Air conditioning compressor likes to hiss a little bit when idling, but that doesn't bother me as much as it bugs my 10-year-old passenger.

4. Last oil change, the guys pointed out my fog lights don't turn on. Seems to be a software issue. System thinks they're on, but they don't actually light up. Will address when I get around to the airbag recall work.

5. Seatbelt buckle likes to get itself trapped between edge of lumbar support and the door. Usually have to twist it out to buckle the belt. Not Jeep's issue, either: that's my fault for where I like it. I just have to learn to not let it get caught in there and I haven't been very good about that.

Other than that, still exceeding my expectations.
