Hopkins Universal Trailer Wiring for 2015 Cherokee?
Hello, I already have an aftermarket Curt hitch receiver installed and I now need wiring to tow a smaller utility trailer. I don't want to do one of those sets that uses the "T" connection and needs a wire up to the battery.
I picked up one of these Hopkins universal ones (like the kind you might get when renting a U-Haul trailer) It just uses a splice connector.
I cannot figure out for the life of me WHERE to splice the harness into?
I've taken the tail light off but not sure if I need wiring to each side for L/R turn signal?
Attached is an image of the one I have and link to it also. Model #48205 . The person at Auto Zone was confident this universal type would work for me.
