Default auto stop/start rpoblem

I have a 2015 cherokee limited and recently did a complete rotor, brake pad replacement. I was careful with suspending the calipers and everything went very smooth. Brakes worked great after I was done.
But now the auto stop/start fails to stop. It's like it's switched off. I'm assuming there's a sensor or switch on the brakes that sends the braking status to the computer. Any ideas where to look?

The ESS start/stop uses multiple inputs to decide whether to stop the engine. Vehicle speed, steering wheel angle, climate controls (if it's needs more heat), hood open sensor, battery voltage (does it need to charge the battery) and brake pedal pressure. It might just need to time to figure things out again. If you do figure it out, let us know since there are lots of people who want to disable it!

Thanks for the reply. Since I was in the brakes, I'm thinking I screwed something up there. Maybe I should try a complete reset.
Disconnect the battery and reboot everything. It could be learning experience. Otherwise I'll pull the wheels and check any wired connections.
I know most people want it off, I just always feel nervous when something stops working by itself.

I can't imagine anything down by the brakes themselves. The pressure sensor would most likely be up near the booster/abs system.
