I have a 2020 Cherokee latitude and have recently started having issues with Android Auto when my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is plugged in. It boots up and starts playing but at inconsistent times after the screen goes black and reverts to the radio. eventually it sometimes says a connectivity issue. at first, I thought the cable was starting to go bad, but it seemed to work if it was a certain way. then the cable stopped working altogether. I bought a cable and the problem seemed to happen more frequently and repeats no matter how many times I unplug and repulg in the cord from my phone and the car. both USB ports do this in my car then I tried another cable I had in the house and still it happens. the weird thing is that when I leave work at 4 o'clock it doesn't happen or takes a lot longer to occur. and it seems like when it happens the phone does not stop charging.
