I have a 2015 Trailhawk. We finally figured out the acuator is bad on the transfer case. Ordered a new one on ebay for $999. All I got was the housing. Now trying to figure out where I can get just the acuator with out the casing but all roads are leading to a deadend. Help From my understanding jeep changed the parts mid year. no clue why.

 

Yeah that eBay listing screwed you. You need the whole actuator module, not just the housing. Jeep doesn't sell just the guts. Your options: search RockAuto for "transfer case shift motor" (2015 Cherokee KL), or buy a used OEM one from a 2015-2017 KL with the same build date. Mid-year split is real check your build month on door sticker. Otherwise Mopar p/n 68366681AA or 68366680AB. No aftermarket fix.
