My cherokee won't switch air vents only blowing from the dash vents heating and cooling work fine is their a vacuum line for this? Or something else .BTW It's 2.4 multi air.

 

if it's still under warranty take it to the dealer and have them fix it.

could be something blocking the passage, something mechanical broke or something electrical that is failing.

it it's out of warranty, then you will need to check for blockages in the vents, find the section that has the mechanical part that blocks which air flow goes and start checking all the electrical wire, fuses and switches are all working properly.

 

oooh I forgot try scanning it first to see in there are any codes in the ecu that can point you in the right direction.

 

There's no vacuum for the vent to move?

 

The doors are electrically driven. Try disconnecting the battery for a bit and see if that helps by resetting the body control computer.
