2016 Trailhawk @ 18k miles
I just drove an additional 8k miles on a cross country trip from Florida to Rockies, to NE Mn and back to Florida. When I left I was @ 10k. I did use 4wd at times and snow mode during a couple snow storms @ Yellowstone. A most appreciated feature was the heated seats & steering wheel in 20's temps, oh yes, how nice that was!. Mechanically I have not had one issue which required service so everything is working perfectly and yes the tranny is just fine. I averaged 27.1 MPG on this trip which was truly amazing and backed up by the old fashioned method of milage plus gas bought. I also have to say that the ride comfort was truly great as I spent more time driving than I would have preferred. Nevertheless the ridge was great and that is from a 66 y/o body. If there was one possible issue it could be my headlights. No, they're bright enough but from the day I bought it I often get oncoming cars especially semis that flash their lights at me. The lights seem to aim high but I addressed this during two oil change services and when doing it again last month they told me they could only lower the beams a little as the adjustment has run out. I did notice fewer drivers flashing lights at me but think theres still an issue there.
I have to say that my Jeep has been virtually perfect though. I should also add that the service at three different Jeep dealers around the country has been a great experience when in for oil changes etc. Bottom line is I love my Jeep and hope it continues to be as reliable as its been.

My daughter finally let me drive her 16 Renegade.
Also fantastic mileage, no issues, really great lighting.
It's not an XJ or Wrangler, wasn't intended to be.
She won't be off roading with it, but the 4 wheel will make me feel better when snow and ice show up for her.
My work buddy is having great results with his 16 Cherokee also!

This makes me feel better. I recently purchased a 2015 Trailhawk and really liked it for the week I had it. Took it into the dealer for a rattling in the front end when off road and they have had it for a month, can't seem to determine where the noise is coming from. Since then have read a lot of bad things on the Cherokee and was getting worried that this is a sign of things to come, hope not.

I'm sorry to hear you haven't been able to enjoy your Jeep! Has your dealership reached out to our corporate techs to assist in diagnosing your vehicle?
